Trees and plants need a healthy environment to thrive.
Our Certified Arborists help you develop and maintain your landscape to achieve optimum health while having it look it’s best. We will conduct an inventory and analysis of your property to identify existing conditions and potential threats to the trees prior to planning any tree care or maintenance strategy.
We provide maintenance, tree and shrub care program, and solutions to disease and other tree problems that are specific to the landscaping needs of your property.
We look forward to meeting with you and developing a tree care and maintenance strategy to suit the specific needs of your property.
TREE & SHRUB PRUNING
In order to maintain or improve tree health structure, pruning is necessary, for both young and established trees. Young trees benefit by ensuring a strong framework for future growth, while mature trees benefit in overall health maintenance and safety. Pruning also assists in maintaining the shape and form of trees so they stay looking their best and maintain their structural integrity.
While not preferable, there are times that trees need to be removed, whether they are declining, have died, are unsafe, or just doesn't fit the landscape due to space, construction or re-landscaping the area. It is the most hazardous aspect of arboriculture and our tree experts have the training and skills necessary to handle the removal safely.
Once a tree is removed, consideration must be made for the stump. Depending on the size of the stump and location, we remove by grinding or excavation.
CABLING & BRACING
Trees with weak branches or multiple stems may require additional support done by cabling and bracing. Cabling provides additional support to the crown of the tree to limit movement, while bracing is a threaded rod installed at branch unions to support the twisting movement of a tree in strong winds.
As seasons come and go, so does the tide of changing landscapes. Our crews are experienced in all aspects of landscape installation, working with Landscape Architects to complete the design you are looking for. Whether you are doing a complete landscape design, a small addition to your current landscape, or just transplanting your plants to a different area on your property, we have the knowledge and experience to complete the project the right way.
Fertilization & Soil Management
Fertilization & Soil Management
Trees require nutrients to live and thrive. When one or more of these nutrients are deficient in the soil, the tree will not reach its full landscape potential, will be more susceptible to disease and insect problems, and will have a shorter life than a similar, well-fertilized tree. We treat your soil with fertilizers and nutrients to provide an optimal soil environment for the health of your trees.
When a tree is declining, it is very likely that the condition of the roots is the cause. To achieve a healthy root environment, root invigoration of your trees may be suggested to removed compacted soil and add organic material, providing the root system with a more optimal soil environment. Removing the compacted soil allows the root system to more easily absorb nutrients and provides aeration, stimulating root growth.
One of the most important ingredients to a healthy landscaping is proper irrigation. Too much or too little water can cause disease and stress on your trees and shrubs. We monitor your system, changing the amount and frequency of water in direct relation to the current weather, time of the season, soil conditions and plant needs.
Insect & Disease Management
As your landscape is changing throughout the season, it's important to inspect your trees and shrubs for insects and disease. While we seek to maintain an optimal environment through our Plant Health Care program, insect infestation and disease can occur and the proper treatment is applied to suppress the activity and presence. Early detection is best to reduce any damage they may cause.
Once the deer find a food source, they are very persistent in returning, damaging your trees and plants while eating their latest meal. To protect your investment and control the deer activity in your yard, we provide deer fence installation, as well as deer repellent spray. Deer repellent is offered as a seasonal program or as needed.
Tick & Mosquito Management
While these insects are a nuisance, as well as a health concern, it's also important to control their population and activity in season. We provide tick control through a program as the timing is very important keeping the risk of tick disease to a minimum. Mosquito control is provided as a program or on an as needed basis.
PLANT HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS: INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Our 8 step Tree & Shrub Care Program is designed to help improve and maintain the health of your trees and shrubs, which includes insect and disease control. It is the basis for healthy and aesthetically pleasing plants, providing nutrition and insect control at the right time of the season.
